Mission

As a very young child, I always had a strong love for animals. Anytime  stray animals found their way into my world, I felt a strong obligation to feed and care for them. At first, my parents would tell me not to feed strays because they would never leave. Of course, they were right, and after a while, they came to the conclusion I could never stop. Our house was always the home with the most pets in the neighborhood. Somehow stray animals knew to come to our home for food and care. This undying love and yearning to save a life has never left who I am.  

As a child I wanted to save all animals, but as I grew older I realized this is can be an impossible mission. I do what I can and rescue as many as possible. I can't save them all, but my thought is if I am able to reach anyone and share the stories of my rescues then maybe I can inspire others to do the same. I am only one person, but my rescues have inspired me to be more than who I ever thought I could be. 

The mission of MyPuddies is to be Pet Rescue Awareness Ambassadors to  reach others and help them remember and understand what it means to be Good Stewards. We can learn a great deal from our special animal buddies through their ability to love unconditionally.  Some may not believe animals have a story to tell. Some may not believe they have emotions, feelings or dreams. Some believe that humans have dominion over animals, but most do not understand the true meaning as caretaker, dependent and protectorate.   MyPuddies wants to be the voice of their stories, and if one person hears them and tells another of MyPuddies, then we have accomplished our mission of being Good Stewards in helping the abandoned, abused, neglected, and unwanted.

Enlightenment  is Knowledge, 

Awareness is the Key......
